About DevStudios

After years of providing IT training all over the world, Bob Vergidis was weary of all the travel. He knew there was a need for real world education in the IT field; so, he decided to open his own school. Starting out in an office no larger than one of our classrooms, Bob launched what was later to be named, DevStudios.

His vision was to start a school, then employ the brightest graduates and develop applications on a consulting basis to create a cash flow and then to use that cash flow to invest in product development. Then, using the skill and experience gleaned from consulting and product development, he would enhance the school programs to ensure they were on the cutting edge and based on "real world" challenges.

That vision ¡V which Bob called his business model ¡V still rings true today for DevStudios. In five years DevStudios has grown its school to four diploma granting programs, created a thriving consulting practice with clients in North America and overseas, and launched a product line that is taking flight.

What began as a vision sketched out on scrap paper has, today on our fifth birthday, matured to one of the most innovative, nimble, energetic software companies in Edmonton and beyond. Maybe that¡¦s why Microsoft has ranked DevStudios as one of its top ten partners in Canada!
